As of Monday afternoon (3/5/01), the MagnaFlow Vintage 2.5 Challenge will be the largest run group (other than a catch-all group) with 22 confirmed entries and more expected. This is a larger field than the average starting grid of the original 2.5 Challenge series (20) and should provide a great race weekend for drivers and spectators alike.

With the severe weather we are experiencing in Southern California some have wondered what is in store for the weekend. We checked with the National Weather Service and their forecast call for cool days (55-60) with a decreasing chance of occasional showers on Saturday and changing to partly cloudy by Sunday. It appears that the worst of this storm will pass before the weekend.
